SEO Reporting & Analytics

Tailor SEO sets up and manages the analytics behind your website, so you can see which searches, pages and campaigns bring in enquiries and sales. We work with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager, and turn the data into a clear monthly report for London and UK businesses. Here’s how it works:
How Our SEO Reporting Works
1. Tracking Setup:
-
We install or audit Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, usually through Google Tag Manager, and check that data is recorded correctly on every page.
2. Conversion Tracking:
-
We set up the actions that matter to your business as key events, including:
-
Enquiries (contact forms, quote requests, live chat).
-
Calls and emails (clicks on your phone number or email address).
-
Bookings and purchases (online orders and appointments).
-
Engagement (downloads, sign-ups and important page views).
-
3. Dashboards:
-
We build a dashboard, for example in Looker Studio, that shows rankings, organic traffic, key events and Google Ads results in one place.
4. Monthly Reporting & Insights:
-
Each month you get a plain-English report: what changed, why it changed, and what we will do next.

SEO Reporting FAQs
What does your SEO reporting include?
Setting up or auditing Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console and conversion tracking, a dashboard that brings your SEO and advertising data together, and a plain-English monthly report.
Do I need Google Analytics 4 if I already have Search Console?
Yes. Search Console shows how you appear in Google search, while Google Analytics 4 shows what visitors do once they reach your website, including enquiries and sales. You need both to see the full picture.
Can you connect analytics to Google Ads?
Yes. We link Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads and import your key events, so you can see which campaigns bring in leads and use that data for bidding.
Who owns the data?
You do. Your Google Analytics, Search Console and Tag Manager accounts belong to your business, and we work in them with the access you give us.
How much does SEO reporting cost?
Every project is quoted individually, based on how many websites, conversions and data sources need to be tracked.
Without data, you’re just another person with an opinion. Let’s make your marketing decisions bulletproof.
How We Set Up Reliable Reporting
Every reporting project starts with a free home page SEO & GEO audit, delivered within 48 hours, and a strategy call about what you need to measure: calls, form enquiries, bookings or online sales. If you already use Google Analytics 4, we check what is being recorded today and what is missing. You then receive a written proposal with the scope, deliverables and fee, agreed before any work starts. There is no long-term contract.
Many analytics setups have the same problems. Contact forms send enquiries that are not counted as key events. Clicks on phone numbers and email addresses are not tracked at all. The same tag is installed twice, so visits are counted twice. Visits from your own team inflate the numbers. Google Ads and Google Analytics 4 are not linked, so you cannot see which campaigns bring in leads.
Each of these makes your reports look better or worse than reality, and leads to decisions based on the wrong numbers. Fixing them is usually the first step, before any dashboard is built.
A good report should answer a few simple questions in minutes: how many enquiries the website brought in this month and where they came from, which pages and searches brought visitors who got in touch, which campaigns paid for themselves, and what changed since last month and last year. If your current reports cannot answer these, the data is usually there, but the setup needs work.
