Wix SEO Agency in London
Wix has a reputation it no longer deserves
Ten years ago, “you can't rank a Wix site” was fair advice. It isn't any more. Wix and Wix Studio now give you control over page titles, URLs, redirects, structured data and robots settings, the same things that matter on any other platform.
Our own website runs on Wix Studio. So does One Spa London's, which went from 447 to 3,969 monthly visits and now leads Google Maps for the searches that matter to it. The platform isn't the problem. How the site is set up usually is.
The Wix problems we see most often
-
Animations that slow everything
Headings and images that “float in” make Google wait. Removing them took our own mobile PageSpeed score from 49 to 80.
-
Pages nobody meant to publish
Old drafts and template leftovers with addresses like /blank-3 or /copy-of-services, still live and still indexed.
-
Default page titles
Titles such as “Home | My Site” that tell Google nothing about what you do or where.
-
Images straight from the camera
Large files and empty alt text, which slow the page and waste a chance to rank in image search.
-
One page doing the job of ten
Every service squeezed onto one page that can't rank for any of them.
-
No useful structured data
Wix adds some automatically, but not your services, FAQs or the areas you serve.
What we do
We work directly in your Wix editor: proper page titles and descriptions, clean URLs and redirects, stray pages fixed or removed, lighter images, sensible animations, structured data, internal links, and Wix Blog posts set up to rank. Then we connect Google Search Console and track what changes.
You keep full control of your site. We're added as a collaborator with only the access the work needs.
FAQs
Is Wix bad for SEO?
No. Most Wix sites that struggle have setup problems, not platform problems, and they're usually quicker to fix than a full rebuild.
Should I move away from Wix?
Rarely for SEO reasons alone. We'll tell you honestly if your site has outgrown it.
Do you work with Wix Studio and the classic Wix Editor?
Yes, both.
How much does Wix SEO cost?
Every project is quoted individually.
